Original BMW navigation preparation with central locking, which is newly installed on motorcycles manufactured after 2025. Now you no longer need to unlock the holder with a key as before, but when the ignition is on, you simply need to press the button on the underside of the holder to remove the navigation/mirroring. When the holder is powered off (with the ignition off), the navigation is securely locked.

  • can also be installed on models from around 2004 that are equipped with a GPS preparation connector

In practice, the holder can be mounted on any motorcycle (even ones other than BMW). In that case, simply cut the white connector, connect the red wire to the switched positive terminal (after turning on the ignition), connect the brown wire to the negative terminal, and leave the green unused. This will provide you with an electric automatic lock for the navigation (e.g., Chigee 5, Chigee 6, etc.).

If you do not have the navigation permanently attached to the holder, protect the connectors with a cover.
