Replacement for the original paper or foam filter. The air box does not need to be modified in any way. The filter is pre-oiled with the original K&N Oil. Thanks to patented technology, K&N filters have higher air flow (by about 40%), while capturing smaller dust particles than the original filters. These filters are washable, so they do not need to be replaced. K&N offers a 10-year warranty or 1 million miles on the functionality of these filters. The filter is ready for first use directly from the manufacturer.
